United States Steel - Barchart's Chart of the Day

United States Steel (X) is the Barchart Chart of the Day.  The steel producer has a Trend Spotter buy signal, a Weighted Alpha of 97.80+ and gained 92.48% in the last year.

The Chart of the Day belongs to United States Steel (X).  I found the stock by sorting today's New High list for new high frequency in the last month, then used the Flipchart feature to review the charts.  Since the Trend Spotter signaled a buy on 7/23 the stock gained 27.12%.

United States Steel manufactures and sells a variety of steel mill products, coke and taconite pellets. Primary steel operations are the Gary (Indiana) Works, the Fairfield (Alabama) Works near Birmingham, the Mon Valley Works ( which includes the Edgar Thomson steel making and Irvin finishing operations) on the Monongahela River near Pittsburgh, and U. S. Steel Kosice in the Slovak Republic.
