In recent news on the stock, Korea Telecom on Nov 7 reported Q3 consolidated operating profit at 538.8 billion won ($500 million), which was stronger than market expectations of 355 billion won ($325 million). Korea Telecom, with a market cap of $8.4 billion, provides telecommunication services in South Korean including mobile telecommunications services, telephone services, fixed-line and VoIP telephone services.
