5 Mid Caps to Consider

Today I used Barchart to sort the S&P 400 Mid Cap Index stocks to find the stocks with good technical indicators and upward momentum.  As always I used the Flipchart feature to review the charts.

Today's list includes Royal Gold (RGLD), Lexmark International (LXK), Kate Spade & Co (KATE), Jetblue Airways (JBLU) and Cinemark Holdings (CNK):

S&P 400 Mid Cap YTD Winners

Today I used Barchart to sort the S&P 400 Mid Cap Stock Index to see which stocks were the YTD winners.  I then use the Flipchart feature to review the charts and noted that some of them seem to have run our of gas or in the case of Hillshire Brands made good acquisition targets.

Today I used Barchart to sort the S&P 400 Mid Cap Index to find stocks I still like even in this choppy market.  First I sorted the Index for the stocks hitting the most new highs in the last month then panned down the rows to find the stocks that had net gains not only during the last month but also during the last 5 trading sessions.

The list includes Dreamworks Animation (DWA), Royal Gold (RGLD), Trinity Industries (TRN), Under Armour (UA) and Omnicare (OCR):
