MetLife on Friday rallied by 1.74% and posted a new 2-1/3 year high, potentially breaking out from the consolidation range seen since last April. In recent news on the stock, Scotia Capital on Feb 2 initiated research on MetLife with an Outperform. MetLife, with a market cap of $45 billion, is a leading provider of insurance and financial services to a broad spectrum of individual and institutional customers.
